Plan inspection, isolation and recovery alongside power continuity from the start.
A Clear Maintenance Path
A power system must support planned maintenance as well as equipment faults. During design, identify which parts can be isolated, how loads will transfer, and how status and alarms will be monitored.
Clear circuit labels, operating procedures and periodic drills help reduce operational errors. Acceptance testing should cover normal, fault and maintenance scenarios.
